We are excited to share with you that, once again, our Delegates and Advisory Board have selected the “National Center for Learning Disabilities (NCLD)” as the charity that RTM will be supporting in 2018!
NCLD empowers the 1 in 5 of us with learning and attention issues to succeed in school, at work and in life. Through our initiatives and with the expertise of our renowned Professional Advisory Board, NCLD creates programs, research and practical resources to reduce stigma, promote self-advocacy skills and mobilize a powerful force of knowledgeable advocates to create real change. Through our involvement, we support classrooms in economically challenged communities across the country by assembling backpacks filled with school supplies.
We help support the following programs:
The Second Responder® program provides school supplies to students affected by natural disasters.
The School Ready Supplies program provides elementary students with new backpacks and the core supplies needed for success.
